The Act repeals the 2004 Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission Act and establishes the framework, composition, powers, staffing, funding, audit, reporting, regulatory authority, offences and penalties of the Commission, with emphasis on monitoring revenue accruals and disbursements from the Federation Account.
